MASS MEDIA
Perm has eight daily and weekly newspapers. Especially popular is the oldest regional daily newspaper, Zvezda (Star) which publishes articles on business and politics, concentrating on events of local significance. It recently celebrated its 75th year of publication. There are more then 10 other informational, advertising and specialized newspapers.
Electronic mass media is represented by five local TV companies and radio stations. The largest of them is the Perm State TV Radio Company T-7. It consists of 5 companies: Perm Regional Radio, Perm Regional TV T-7, Radio Mediana, the informational advertising radio "newspaper" Efir (Ether) and the Association of Documentary and Feature Films.
Motorists listen to special information and entertainment programs of Autoradio. Young people prefer musical programs and shows of Radio Maximum, Music Radio and Radio Europe Plus.
